Dennis Senkbeil is currently pursuing a DMA in wind band conducting at the University of Arizona. His duties include serving as a graduate conductor and assisting with the Pride of Arizona Marching Band, Pep Band, Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and co-directing Symphonic Band.

Mr. Senkbeil moved to Southern Arizona in 2012 after earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Maryland. He taught middle and high school band in the area for four years before working as a graduate assistant at the University of Arizona while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Education, which he graduated with in 2018. Mr. Senkbeil taught in Maryland from 2018-2022, before moving back to Tucson, Arizona to begin his DMA program.
Passionate about music education, Mr. Senkbeil continues to seek opportunities to strengthen his knowledge and experiences while defending the importance of music in the school system. Mr. Senkbeil is blessed to be married to his wife, Casey, and has been enjoying his most recent title of father, to their daughter Madeline.
